Have you ever seen a jumpsuit quite like this?  We thought not, so how bad-ass is that you have found this one!  Some call Charlie, as a new angel is in town, and her mission is to always wear natural fibres that say lets save the planet one wear at a time….

The jumpsuit design features two kilts straps and buckles as the only hardware you will ever need.  Your waist position to ensure you can cinch in those curves, and one on your top left shoulder to allow you to fasten the top lapels.  Each jumpsuit has our quirky pocket arrangement, with a side seam pocket and an opposite bum cheek’y’ pocket. These trousers are a loose straight leg fit with a peaked hem line, with the longest peak dropping on the inside leg.

To have the ultimate build your own experience, we have made available 3 arm styles, you can pick from a short sleeve, tapered skinny arm or our batwing.  You pick what you love and we would love to make it!

Available in the four iconic Element colours and available in our heavy weight fabric, for maximum density and structure.  We want to give you more, with access to the full range of options direct from our planet and people first design archives.  These are our bad-ass books of how to always wear your values and look amazing!  See full details below.

What It's Made Of

  • Made with 100% finest natural merino wool
  • Spun and dyed in Scotland
  • Woven into tartan fabrics by us at our Highland mill
  • All labels made from hand cut and laser etched Scottish leather

Who It's Made By

  • Made by bad-ass womxn and men of the Scottish Highlands
  • Proudly preserving century old textile skills and machinery
  • Also proudly disrupting the world of future clothing, we have seen the past and it works!

• Size – Made to Measure all the way! Your jumpsuit will be made to order, then despatched within 2 weeks of the fabric being woven during the 4 X A Year batch period.

• Leg Length – we have provided you with 3 inside leg length options to select from the drop down, however if you want these altered in any way then please just let us know in the notes section as you checkout.

• Natural Waist – we ask for your natural waist size, this can often be 5-8” above your hips depending on your height. This is where the jumpsuit waist fastening will sit, with a loose fit then remember you don’t need to go tight with it. The kilt strap and buckle closure will always give you a 3” bit of play

• Widest Hips – this can often include a bit of your bottom, so your widest part really. We want to make sure that you can sit down in the jumpsuit and not feel like you have been squeezed into them or even being squeezed out!

• Waist to Hips – this is to give us an indication of distance between where the waistband will fasten and your widest point. If you are for example really tall it means if we need to make any adjustments we can.

• Bust – we require your bust size to ensure that the jumpsuit top closes comfortably in this area

• Nape to Back Waist – this little measurement ensures we have the right information for your back length, to enhance the fits like a glove feel that will come from wearing this jumpsuit.

• Sleeve Sizes & Length – with our jumpsuit you can either go for the skinny style arm which is 19” in length from the arm top to cuff. It has a tapered fit and this is where we need your bicep size in inches to make sure we have one that gives you the look you are looking for. Or you can select the batwing style arm which is 17.5” from the arm top to the cuff. Your third option is our short sleeve, which is 8” in length.

• Bicep – this measurement allows to make sure that we have the perfect size for your arm style of choice. All of our arm styles have a generous ease allowance, you know for all of that moves you will be working up on a dancefloor somewhere!

• Item Finishing – Double tracked stitching for lasting seams, two feature kilt straps and buckles, with branded real leather label specifying the makers batch.

• Fabric Design - The Elements of Endurance Tartan, designed by us!

• Weave Design - repeated throughout the fabric is the alchemy element symbols, earth, air, water and fire, represented in triangle form.

• Fabric Repeat – all fabric has been cut by hand from the cloth roll woven at our mill, therefore aspects of the repeat will be unique to each item, which is pretty cool as it makes them all unique!

• Colour Options - Earth (brown), Air (grey), Water (blue) and Fire (red), each element tartan features four colours from the colour family it represents.

• Fabric Weight Options - Heavy (dense and structured)

Here we proudly share with you our less than x 1 mark-up that we apply, and how this garment has been costed.

Most brands in the 'fashion' world add multipliers of x 2 for wholesale then add another x 2 for retail. When you buy direct from us its a less than x 1, we use the profits from everything we create to support more fairly paid jobs and push the textile world to be more eco-conscious. But we do a lot more like donating to charities and education bodies. This is what we proudly call our ethical pay it forward mark up.

The cost breakdown for this garment is;
Fabric Cost £96.00
Labour To Make £105.00
QC, Labelling & Packing £11.00
Overheads (incl insurance, premise costs etc) £31.80
Total Cost To Company £243.80

Ethical Pay It Forward Mark Up After Shipping x 0.66 £161.20

Time to Make : 5.25hrs
Cut 0.75hrs
Overlock 0.5hrs

For Cost Per Wear (CPW) we just wanted to share how buying less, paying ethical prices, loving and wearing more is actually really affordable, it’s all about the number of wears!

You wear the item 3 times a week for the next 3 years, that is 468 wears. The CPW is £430 divided by 468 wears, Cost Per Wear 49p!
