Be the change you wish to see
We're here to write a new chapter for Scottish textiles — one where the Highlands isn't just the inspiration for tartan, but a place where it is designed, woven and made.
We want to keep the skills alive that made this place what it is, while questioning the parts of the industry that clearly aren't working. We make with natural fibres, work to keep our supply chain close, design for longevity and challenge the idea that clothes need to be made quickly, cheaply and in huge quantities.

Make better choices about materials, people, place and waste — and back them up with action rather than greenwash.
What we're really trying to do
Put the Highlands back at the heart of its own textile story. Protect the skills we've inherited. Give people reasons to make, repair, reuse and buy differently. Create work here. Make things worth keeping.
And keep pushing.
Because tartan doesn't belong in a museum case, behind glass. It's a living and breathing cloth with a future.
