It took years of saving to be in a position to buy a Maxi Kilt. The goddesses were with me as when the time came to place an order, Prickly Thistle had partnered with another tartan weaver. The resulting Kilt is simply amazing, surpassing all my meagre expectations. The fabric falls beautifully and is soft to the feel. The cut and subsequent drape is flattering to even this older body. It fits in well with my other Prickly Thistle garments.

Beautiful colors! I think I will use it to make a journal cover.

These mittens are so soft, comfortable, and warm! My hands, that are often cold, stay warm in these mitts! And the mittens are attractive as well!!!

I’ve not purchased yet but will be getting an outfit in January for a big event so buying my gift vouchers for that occasion so well excited and at my first meeting about my outfit it was such a lovely experience

I really love the shirt, colour is very nice. I used to work in a warehouse as quality control for curtain and upholstery fabrics and I really appreciate the great quality of the fabric of the shirt I bought, The shirt is a bit shorter than expected, but I still like it. When I received the parcel I was pleasantly surprised, it was like unpacking a present.
I will definitely buy more items in the future.

When I saw an exhibition at the Design Museum of wartime inspired fabric covered in slogans I wondered where the textile designs of today are to deliver the climate crisis message (apart from slogan T-shirts) so when I heard of the climate tartan I knew it was just what I was looking for. I will be wearing an outfit made from it when I take part in Dorset’s COP. It is truly a work of art in itself and I will ensure I don’t waste any of it.
