Our most popular dress design is now available in this fun limited edition fabric.  It comes with our tapered 3/4 length arms and mid rise neck roll, and the ever essential aspect of a dress, pockets!

This design has an eye catching asymmetrical hemline, however if you prefer a straight hem line then please just ask!

We have this available in our classic jumper length of 22" on the short side and 25" on the long side, not too short and not too long.  We give you the best of both worlds with this one!

• Size – With a Made to Measure option, we also have this item in stock at our mill in 3 seam to seam sizes as follows;

Seam to Seam 20" - fits max bust or waist of 38"
Seam to Seam 24" - fits max bust or waist of 46"
Seam to Seam 28" - fits max bust or waist of 54"

• Length – Dress - short side 37", long side 40"

• Max Bust & Widest Hips – we have some ready to wear sizes at the mill and these are listed with their seam to seam size along with maximum bust/waist/hips size. If you wished to have a custom made dress then please select the made to measure option and we will confirm with you what sizes you are looking for.

• Neck Style & Opening – this jumper comes with our mid height neck. approx 3" high.

• Sleeve Sizes & Length – with this jumper comes with our stylish tapered arms to a 3/4 arm length. It is 14” in length from the arm top to cuff. It has a tapered fit and this is where we need your bicep size in inches to make sure we have one that gives you the look you are looking for.

• Item Finishing – Hemmed sleeves and jumper bottom, with branded real leather label on the cuff.

• Fabric Design - A limited edition version, Rebel Heart Reversal.

• Weave Design - woven to our unique and in-house created technical shadow twill. Creating an eye catching ribbed affect, our shadow weave adds rebellious body!

• Fabric Repeat – all fabric has been cut by hand from the cloth roll woven at our mill, therefore aspects of the repeat will be unique to each item, which is pretty cool as it makes them all unique!

• Colour Options - Black, grey and light purple.

• Fabric Weight Options - medium weight woollen spun yarns that works keeps you cool in the summer and warm in the winter!

For all of our made to order items we can usually have your made to order and measure clothing to you within 2 weeks, when our fabric stores have your fabric on the roll.

For all items ordered as part of the 4 X A Year Club, we can have your clothing to you from as early as 2 weeks or it may be up to 8-10 weeks if we need more fabric. As we are weavers, its super handy right! No waiting months and months for items to pass around various factories, we do it all under one roof.

Most brands in the 'fashion' world add multipliers of x 2 for wholesale then add another x 2 for retail. When you buy direct from us its a less than x 1, we use the profits from everything we create to support more fairly paid jobs and push the textile world to be more eco-conscious. My long waited for Maxi Kilt

It took years of saving to be in a position to buy a Maxi Kilt. The goddesses were with me as when the time came to place an order, Prickly Thistle had partnered with another tartan weaver. The resulting Kilt is simply amazing, surpassing all my meagre expectations. The fabric falls beautifully and is soft to the feel. The cut and subsequent drape is flattering to even this older body. Great quality

I really love the shirt, colour is very nice. I used to work in a warehouse as quality control for curtain and upholstery fabrics and I really appreciate the great quality of the fabric of the shirt I bought, The shirt is a bit shorter than expected, but I still like it. When I received the parcel I was pleasantly surprised, it was like unpacking a present.

Terrifying terrific tartan

When I saw an exhibition at the Design Museum of wartime inspired fabric covered in slogans I wondered where the textile designs of today are to deliver the climate crisis message (apart from slogan T-shirts) so when I heard of the climate tartan I knew it was just what I was looking for. I will be wearing an outfit made from it when I take part in Dorset’s COP. It is truly a work of art in itself and I will ensure I don’t waste any of it.
